Lucia Galloway is a writer in Claremont, CA. She holds the MFA degree in Creative Writing, which she credits as a key to her membership in the wider Los Angeles poetry community. She publishes poetry in a variety of literary magazines and reads her work in venues local and afield. She enjoys co-hosting the Claremont Library Poetry Reading Series and teaching young people to write through Johns Hopkins CTYOnline.
Lucia writes about relationships, history, landscape and art. Her stated goal is to
enter into the conversation, ongoing and inevitable, between ourselves and our multiple environments. One poet’s take on what it means to be human in these places, these times is what she offers.
